Novak and Coughlin Capture Grant Thornton Title in Record Fashion

A record-breaking 28-under performance sealed the deal for Andrew Novak and Lauren Coughlin at the mixed-team invitational in Florida.
Andrew Novak and Lauren Coughlin put on a clinic at Tiburón Golf Club, firing a final-round 63 to win the 2025 Grant Thornton Invitational by three strokes.
The dynamic duo finished the week at 28-under par, setting a new tournament scoring record for the mixed-team event. Their chemistry was evident throughout the week, particularly in Sunday's modified four-ball format, where they pulled away from the chasing pack.
Dominant Performance
"Lauren is probably the single most reliable golfer I've ever played with," Novak said after the round. "I knew I was going to be hitting from the fairway all day."
He also joked about his success in team formats, referencing his earlier win at the Zurich Classic.
Finishing in a tie for second at 25-under were the teams of Jennifer Kupcho & Chris Gotterup, Nelly Korda & Denny McCarthy, and Charley Hull & Michael Brennan.
The victory caps off a breakout year for both players, with Novak securing his second team title of 2025 following his Zurich Classic win earlier in the season.
