The United States won the 2026 Presidents Cup 17–13 at Medinah on September 27. Trailing by three points entering Sunday, the Americans won nine singles matches, lost two and halved one to claim their 11th consecutive title.
The PGA TOUR's final-day report describes the turnaround under captain Brandt Snedeker. Geoff Ogilvy led the International Team; Jim Furyk, the U.S. captain for Adare Manor in 2027, served as an American assistant at Medinah.

Cameron Young beat Ryo Hisatsune 3&2, Jackson Koivun defeated Si Woo Kim 2UP, and Jacob Bridgeman supplied the clinching point with a 1UP win over Min Woo Lee. Field Level Media's match report records those results and the late sequence that took the Americans beyond the winning threshold.
Scottie Scheffler and Justin Thomas also won their singles. Sam Burns and Wyndham Clark lost, while Russell Henley halved with Nick Taylor. The session explains the final margin; it does not erase the Americans' deficit after four sessions of foursomes and four-ball.

Young played all five sessions. Koivun appeared in three matches and finished unbeaten. Bridgeman lost both of his foursomes appearances before delivering the decisive singles point. Those records give Furyk concrete examples of performance across formats, rather than a single ranking of who contributed most.
Individual points cannot be added to reproduce a team score: both partners receive a point in their personal records when they win a paired match, while the team receives one.
What Medinah means for Adare Manor
Medinah gives Furyk recent team-event evidence about potential American candidates. It does not award them 2027 Ryder Cup qualifying points or secure a place on his team.
