Player Value for Team Europe
Luke Donald has appeared in 4 Ryder Cups, producing a 10-4-1 overall record across 15 matches. That converts to 10.5 total points, giving Team Europe a clear sample of how his game translates from individual stroke play into match-play pressure.
The clearest format signal is Foursomes, where his record is 6-2-0. It shows where his Ryder Cup value has translated most consistently.
Luke Donald's statistical profile is built around high-end total performance, with a strokes-gained total of 1.35. That kind of all-around baseline matters in Ryder Cup play because captains need players who can survive difficult matchups without depending on one narrow skill.
