Europe Ryder Cup Standings 2027: October 25 Points List and Qualification Explained

Eugenio Chacarra leads Europe's Ryder Cup Points List dated October 25, 2026, with 571.05 points. Adrian Meronk is second on 394.31 and Joe Dean third on 350.75. Angel Hidalgo is fourth on 350.13. The order of the top six is unchanged from October 18.

European standings — October 25, 2026

These are the positions in Ryder Cup Europe's official rankings for October 25. Qualification continues until August 22, 2027; the players currently inside the automatic places have not secured final selection.

Sergio Garcia does not appear on this list. On October 29 he confirmed he will play the DP World Tour in 2027 and is targeting a playing place at Adare Manor. That announcement did not publish a Ryder Cup points total.

What changed after October 18

The October 18 list, published after the India Championship, had Chacarra on 555.75. Ryder Cup Europe's India analysis recorded that total, 161.44 points ahead of Meronk. The October 25 total is 571.05, which is 176.74 points ahead of Meronk's unchanged 394.31.

The October 25 date matches the finish of the Genesis Championship at Woo Jeong Hills. Chacarra tied 22nd there at 6 under. The DP World Tour's points breakdown gives him 51 Race to Dubai points for that finish. Hidalgo tied 34th at 4 under and received 36.50 Race to Dubai points. Those Race to Dubai figures are not Ryder Cup points, and they are not added to the totals in the table above.

Meronk, Dean, Fitzpatrick and Lowry hold the same Ryder Cup totals as on October 18. Golf Planète's October 19 report remains the cross-check for that earlier top six, including Hidalgo's previous 339.18.

The list also includes the Dunhill Links and the Open de España. It is a dated points release rather than a live tournament leaderboard.

How Europe selects its twelve players

The 2027 European qualification process uses a single Ryder Cup Points List. Eligible DP World Tour members earn points in designated events during the counting period.

• Europe's qualifying window began on August 27, 2026.
• Eligible PGA TOUR events count from January 1, 2027, subject to the published exceptions.
• Qualification closes on August 22, 2027.
• Six players qualify automatically; Luke Donald selects six more.

DP World Tour membership and the eligibility requirements apply to both routes. The tour's 2027 membership position for players considering LIV is therefore relevant to the pool of available candidates.

Ryder Cup points and Race to Dubai points

Chacarra also took the Race to Dubai lead in India, but the two lists use different allocations. The DP World Tour's India breakdown lists 835 Race to Dubai points for his win. His Ryder Cup gain that week was 250, taking him to 555.75. At the Genesis Championship he earned another 51 Race to Dubai points. His Ryder Cup total on the separate October 25 list is 571.05.

World-ranking positions are a third measure. They can help describe a player's competitive standing without replacing the points list used for automatic Ryder Cup qualification.

When do the United States standings start?

The American points race begins at The American Express in January 2027. Results in 2026 earn no U.S. qualifying points. The published U.S. criteria cover 31 events, ending with the BMW Championship on August 22, and provide six automatic places plus six captain's picks.
